Straight to the Point
Whether you’re pushing over that first domino or joining with others to keep the chain reaction going, we are all part of something that is building, growing, and gaining strength. And your story matters!
Small But Mighty
Picture this: a tiny domino can topple another 1.5 times its size. With one small nudge, it sets off a chain reaction that can bring down something massive. In activism, your one small action—whether it’s making a call, attending a meeting, or sharing your story—can spark real change.
Your Story, Your Voice
Every movement starts with a story. A compelling story moves people from inaction to action, transforming fear into hope, urgency, and solidarity. It explains why you’ve chosen to take action and what drives you to serve. There are three key elements to a story that resonates:
Challenge: What was the moment that led you to take action?
Choice: What decision did you make in response?
Outcome: What happened as a result? What did you learn?
Focus on one defining moment that led you to act. That single decision, that one domino, can be the spark that ignites a bigger movement. Even if you don’t share your story with the world, knowing your “why” keeps you grounded, motivated, and ready to keep pushing forward.
“Movements have narratives. They tell stories, because they are not just about rearranging economics and politics. They also rearrange meaning.”
— Marshall Ganz

On a Positive Note
This week, we’ve witnessed incredible acts of bravery and passion in the name of democracy—from Senator Cory Booker’s record-breaking speech to Missourians across the state standing and marching in protest of the Trump administration. These moments are a powerful reminder that every small action contributes to a larger, growing movement.
